Dan Mullen and the Gator staff have been working hard to schedule official visits leading up to the Early Signing Period.
Given the flaky and insecure consistency of the Gator fanbase, the coaching staff believe it is vital to flip elite fans from other rival programs to balance out the external noise surrounding their recruiting acumen.
Big 3 Roll Up is able to confirm that Tampa (FL) local Todd Pittinger had informed the Gator staff that he would be taking an official visit to UF. Todd told the staff he’d be taking his official visit for the FSU vs UF rivalry game, and would arrive on campus Friday, November 29th.
Todd Pittinger had been a solid FSU fan for years, growing up in a household that actively cheered for the Noles his entire life. But with the recent hiring (and firing) of Florida State Head Coach Willie Taggart, his commitment to the Noles has been openly perceived as shaky at best.
Todd has taken official visits to FSU and UVA so far this season, but has also attended two neutral site UF outings versus the University of Coral Gables as well as UGA. Todd had expressed an intent to make his verbal commitment known in the days before the Early Signing Period.
The Big 3 Roll Up board is divided on where Todd will land, with 33% of votes leaning towards FSU, UF, and Alabama each.
The Big 3 Roll Up gelato scoop composite, a nonsensically generated average, rates Todd Pittinger a 4.7 out of 5 gelato scoops, making him a top 100 overall fan in the 2020 recruiting cycle.
