2019 Gators Recruiting Class
The Florida Gators 2019 recruiting class is really good so far. Currently the Gators have the number 11 recruiting class according to multiple recruiting sites. The class has 21 commitments which include 5 star cornerback Chris Steele, 4 star tight end Keon Zipperer, 4 star linebacker Tyron Hopper and fellow 4 star linebacker Mohamoud Diabate.
As stated previously , it will be interesting to see transfers come to light. I personally don’t have any immediate thoughts other than the obvious of trask wanting play time, with Mullen shaping his QB room up according to his own preference trask isn’t likely to get much play time over , developing year two and future starter in Emory jones. Iverson clement in a deep RB room may look for a fresh scene with perine returning and the emergence of freshmen RB dameon pierce. Malik davis healthy next year is a solid battle for RB2. the narrative of Copeland as a transfer this early is blasphemy , I expect many touches for him next season as it seemed aside from injury it was really about him getting the play book Down. Mullen seems high on him. Look forward to shooting the Sh*t with everyone from all fansbases and starting the year off being the best in the state. With that being said. GO GATORS?
Great job getting the message board up and running. I think Trask is an obvious transfer candidate. I could also see Rick Wells moving on. However, I don't know about Clement. Yeah, there is some traffic ahead of him in the RB room but I think's it's too early for him to be looking elsewhere especially when we're one injury away from having to contribute. Also, did Clement get moved back to RB? I remember him being moved to DB but don't know if they ever moved him back to RB.
I agree on Copeland. I think Mullen has big Plans for him. We're really going to need him in 2020 after the WR exodus we expect following the end of the 2019 season.
